EIle s'occupe d'une foule de problemes passionnants - comme cela doit etre. Et nous devons envisager avec optimisme I'avenir de I'Union qui resoudra toujours avec comprehension et souplesse les problemes souleves par Ie fantastique developpement de notre science, I'afflux incessant de nouveaux membres, l'emploi de nouvelles methodes, de nouveau materiel, et la profusion des resultats obtenus dans des domaines completement inconnus de nos predecesseurs.
