It shows that despite variations in US penetration between countries - ranging from 6 per cent in France to 52 per cent in Canada - there are just six out of the 14 industry groups in which US penetration is consistently high: chemicals, rubber, machinery (electrical and non-electrical), transport equipment, and instruments.
